[Video] Thomas Rhett Does A Remake of Bruno Mars ‘When I Was Your Man’

Earlier this year Thomas Rhett was nominated for the 'Breakthrough Artist of The Year Award' on The American Country Countdown Awards. Thomas Rhett launched a PR campaign to drum up some extra votes before the big night, promising his supporters that he would record his own version of the Bruno Mars power ballad "When I Was Your Man" IF followers showed their support by re-tweeting his post. Almost 4,000 fans complied and Rhett just made good on his promise.

Rhett recently talked about Bruno Mars during a Rolling Stone interview.

Even though Rhett ended up losing the 'Breakthrough Artist' award to Kim Moore, we're sure glad he kept his promise and recorded the song. Nice job Mr. Rhett.
