UNI Has A New Degree Just For Adult Learners
It's tough being a college student in normal circumstances, right? For those who have full time jobs, family committments, or just can't manage the full-time student lifestyle, it's a whole new level of difficult.
If you fall into the later categories, the University of Northern Iowa has an option for you.
In a new effort to educate adult learners, the University of Northern Iowa is expanding a part of its business program. The college is adding a more flexible degree option for students who are at a different stage in their life and cannot fully commit to a full-time university schedule.
University faculty expanded the Management: Business Administration Bachelors of Arts degree program to include a fully part-time and online option.
“The program prepares students to succeed in a variety of organizational roles by providing a core business education and building a breadth of needed workplace competencies,” said UNI business professor Atul Mitra in a press release.
In that statement, university officials gave some more details about the class itself. Those who plan to take the class will have an academic standard equal to the in person and full time students. The classes will be taught by the very same faculty as the full time counterparts.
2020 saw the creation of this specific degree, and the program marks the second fully online and flexible program at the university.
