This Is What A Real Iowa Candle Would Smell Like
We've all seen those candles. These little trinkets that are supposed to be a little gift for whenever we're really in need of some relaxation...and to freshen up a bit. There are some candles that are slowly growing in popularity with this fun sort of gimmick. They are all over social media and websites galore...candles that are supposed to smell like your hometown or home-state.
There are a few nationwide state candle distributers that are leaning in to this. The scent descriptions for these things are absolutely incredible. It's almost like a colorful description for a wine. Iowa's seems somewhat accurate.
Spacious skies, fresh cut grass, and hints of corn. A touch of bourbon melds with complex undertones of white musk for a fresh, clean finish.
Top Notes: Bourbon, Cream, Praline
Mid Notes: Butter, Cedarwood, Musk
Base Notes: Sugar, Vanilla, Tonka Bean

This got us all thinking if this person has even set foot in Iowa. We threw this to some our social pages, and got a whole lot of responses that keep coming. So, what would a candle that's meant to smell exactly like Iowa actually smell like?
