It's the holiday season which means food, presents, decorating and of course movies! I don't know about you but for years my family had a holiday tradition of going to a movie on Christmas night after all the traditional festivities were done and seeing the latest holiday movie (more often than not it was like the chipmunks movies). Well, I am not alone on this "tradition."

According to a survey done by Marcus Theatres, almost half of us plan on going to a movie four or more times during the holiday season between now and January first. I mean I can see why, the holidays can be stressful and sometimes the only way to keep your family from arguing during the holidays is to put them somewhere they can't talk.

Well, there are a lot of movies to look forward to this holiday season and yet none (except one) of them seem very holiday- ey (this is not a word, I know but you get what I mean). Here are the top 5 most anticipated movies of the holiday season:

1.  "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"- Opens December 20th

2.  "Frozen 2"- Opens November 22nd

3.  "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood"- Opens November 22nd

4.  "Jumanji: The Next Level"- Opens December 13th

5.  "Little Women" -Opens Christmas Day
