Planning a Date in Iowa? Here’s Where to Go for Instant Points

There are a lot of good options throughout Eastern Iowa for a fun date night.

We have a lot of great food and drink options that both members of the date could enjoy. But what is the best place?

Well, that's certainly subjective, but a popular food publication, Love Food, has selected its pick for the top spot.

The place they picked has three Iowa locations, two of 'em in Eastern Iowa, so there's a very good chance you've tried them before. The question is, do you agree?

A Romantic Date Night in Iowa: The Top Pick

For their "best date night" list, Love Food looked into finding romantic options in each state.

They didn't rank from best to least best; instead, they simply picked the best date night spot in each state.

For Iowa, they selected a popular martini bar with lots of good food options, too.

Stuffed Olive was their top pick for Iowa. Now, they specifically mentioned the Des Moines location, but there are three total Stuffed Olives in Iowa - Cedar Falls and Iowa City being home to the other two.

They also have two locations outside of Iowa.

I checked the menus, and they're about the same, so I'd say any location is likely a great pick. And, I can attest to the quality of the Cedar Falls location. I've been there many, many times.

How Stuffed Olive Snagged the Top Spot

Love Food rattled off their reasoning that the Stuffed Olive takes the top spot.

Saying that they have the perfect tapas for sharing, fan favorites include the chicken skewers, spinach artichoke dip, and Nashville hot chicken sliders.

And don’t skip dessert: the house-made crème brûlée is a must, so says Love Food.

What's odd, they make no mention of the fact that they have over one hundred of the best date night beverages: martinis.
