Well, no. And, certainly not.

But somewhere, someone has a reasoning, I'm sure, to say "yes" to each of those obviously unhealthy life choices.

With that in mind, I give you a "study" that you can share with your fellow Iowan, or any former Iowa resident. Our state's 20 snobbiest towns!

Iowa's Snobbiest Cities - A "Study"

By now, you've noticed I used the word study in quotes each time. There's a good reason, this isn't a study at all. I simply asked AI to tell me our snobbiest cities, and why it feels the way it feels.

What I got was a hilarious send-up of some lovely places in Iowa.

One that made me think, man, does AI have a sense of humor? I think so.

This is satirical, playful Iowa pride mixed with just enough petty to be fun. No shade intended… okay, maybe a little.

My wife gets mad when I "feed the beast," that is ChatGPT, but dang, it's fun to converse with!

What Metrics Did ChatGPT Use?

ChatGPT obviously pulled zero metrics. Did no actual research. So, how did it pick the 20 cities you'll see below? It picked the cities it could give me a tongue-in-cheek write up on.

That's why you won't see tiny little towns on the list. Each city has to be known for something.
