Ohio State coach Urban Meyer made a promise that if his team won the national championship he would get a tattoo.

After defeating Alabama in the 2015 Sugar Bowl to advance to the 2015 College Football Playoff national championship game, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer gathered his team in the locker room and made a promise. He told the team that if we beat Oregon to win the national title that he would get a tattoo.

Since the Buckeyes defeated Oregon 42-20 to win the national championship, It's time for Meyer to pay up on that promise.

Buckeyes tight end Jeff Heuerman tells USA Today: "He promised us after we beat 'Bama in the locker room that if we won the next one, he'd get a tattoo. I'll supervise it. Trust me. I'm going to be right next to him. The first thing that went through my head is, 'Coach Meyer's getting a tattoo.'"

Meyer may get the school's "Block O" logo inked on himself.
