One of the biggest tourist attractions in all of Iowa can be found in the city of Dyersville, in Dubuque County.

The very same baseball diamond, house, and farm that Ray Liotta, Kevin Costner, and James Earl Jones right in the middle of a 193-acre farm.

Everyone in Iowa is familiar with the lore of the 1989 baseball film 'Field of Dreams.' Not only is it set on a farm and baseball field in Iowa, but it was also shot here too!

Over the years, this movie location turned into a major attraction for baseball and film fans alike. You can even take a tour of the farmhouse and run the bases on the legendary baseball diamond.

Tim McGraw Kicks Things Off in Dyersville

Earlier this year, we shared the news with you that country legend Tim McGraw would be putting on a concert at the Field of Dreams movie site.

Introducing the Velocity Festival: Iowa’s Newest Music Event

It turns out, that McGraw's concert announcement was just one part of the whole story. The movie site is actually hosting a two-day music festival this summer called Velocity Festival with the 'I Like It, I Love It' star headlining on Saturday, August 30th.

Reports say that this is the inaugural Velocity Festival, and the plan is for the musical event to expand to multiple cities all across the country.

Brantley Gilbert Joins the Festival Lineup

Just three months later, we now know some of the other performers who are set to take to the field.

Country star Brantley Gilbert has been confirmed as a performer on Sunday, August 31st. More performers are expected to be revealed very soon, so we will keep you updated once we know more.

We do know who is slated to be the headliner for Sunday's lineup of music.

Nickelback Headlines the Field of Dreams Music Festival

Love 'em or hate 'em! These guys know how to draw a crowd!

The Velocity Festival hosted at the Field of Dreams movie site will conclude with six-time Billboard Music Award winners, multi-platinum Canadian rock band, and all-around pop culture touchstone, Nickelback!

The official Nickelback ticket pre-sale is set to start on Wednesday, March 19th at 10:00 AM CST on StubHub. General on sale tickets and VIP packages will go on sale on Friday, March 21st at 10:00 AM.
