Starting on September 18th the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens will be hosting the Scarecrow Stroll at the Arboretum. This event is open to all families, it is $5 for adults and $2 for Children ages 5-17. Kids 4 & under get in for free. Arboretum Members also receive free admission.

If you and the family are excited to be out and about again to celebrate the Fall season and get ready for Halloween, this event and many others are a great, and budget-friendly way to get started right here in the Cedar Valley.

You can expect a Scarecrow display when you join in on the fun, They also have a list of other great things!

In total this event has three main things:

Scarecrow Stroll - Sept. 18th - Oct. 31st*

Take a walk around this unique display of scarecrows made by volunteers, the public, and local businesses. Complete the scavenger hunt and take photos with your favorites. The display will be left up until the end of October, weather permitting.

Open Air Market - Sept. 18th- Oct. 31st*

Come shop our open air market filled with produce and flowers September through October. The market will be left up until the end of October, weather permitting.

Scarecrow Contest - Sept. 18th - Oct. 3rd

Join us for socially distant fun at the Arboretum! Scarecrows have made themselves at home in the gardens and are ready to say hello. Vote on your favorites and help us pick the best scarecrow of them all.

My family always started the Fall season with apple picking. It is a great tradition, that gave us great memories. This could be a great start to make those memories again with the Scarecrow Stroll at the Arboretum.
