One Montezuma, Iowa family has their heart in the right place. Earlier this week, they put up a lemonade stand to help raise funds for the reward of a lost Iowa boy.

I first saw this story shared by KHQA-TV. It's an effort to add funds to a reward for helping locate Xavior Harrelson. As ABC reported, Xavior was lost a few weeks ago while out on a bike ride. Krista Mostek's family decided to do something to help. That led to this sweet picture she shared on her Facebook page this week.

As KHQA reported, the girls raised $167 which they matched and that was put toward the relief fund for information leading to Xavior's return. Iowa News Now is reporting that with the help of great people like Krista's family, the reward is now over $17,000.

The search for Xavior has now been assisted by the FBI as this ABC News report states.

It's encouraging when you see families like the Mosteks that decide to take action to make a difference. It's a very selfless Iowa response that we can only hope to see more of.

If you have any information about Xavior's whereabouts, you're advised to call 911 and/or contact the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office.
