Midwest Man Proposing to Girlfriend Gets Help From Country Star [VIDEO]
Proposals are a special moments filled with a lot of excitement, especially when country stars are involved.
According to Dakota News Now, a Midwest man by the name of Michael Callis got some help from a big name country star to propose to his girlfriend of two years, Bria Janke. Wondering who that country star is? It was Lee Brice!
The report states that "Callis reached out to some people at Brice's camp," got in touch with Lee's tour manager, and the rest is history. Brice's tour manager helped plan the big event. Here's how it went down. Callis and Janke got pit tickets to Brice's show on Friday, March 12 at The District in Sioux Falls. Nothing out of the ordinary here considering the two had seen Lee perform a couple of times.
What was special though was that they got to go backstage to meet Kameron Marlowe, the opening act for the show....or so Janke thought. She got another surprise when Lee greeted her backstage. Brice played his song "Love Like Crazy" and then the magic happened as Callis got down on one knee (cue the tears). Talk about a romantic proposal.
Of course, Janke said yes and now has another big day to look forward to. We wish this couple the best in their future together. Check out photos from Callis' Facebook post and a video of the special moment below:
