Iowa State Fair Announces Exciting Grandstand Performers for 2025

The 2025 Iowa State Fair is going to have a pretty stacked lineup!

On Tuesday, December 10th the Instagram account for the Iowa State Fair posted some extreme close up shots to their page. These indiscernible pictures were of the two next artists that would be performing at the Grandstand this summer.

One appeared to be a cowboy boot and the other a black converse sneaker.

On Wednesday morning, officials from the fair announced two more artists who will be coming to Des Moines in August.

Who Are The Latest Iowa State Fair Grandstand Acts?

Then on Wednesday morning, fair officials dropped the names of these performers and their respective concert dates.

Country Star Megan Moroney is set to perform at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand with special guest Kameron Marlowe! The show is scheduled for Saturday, August 9th. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday, December 13th at 10:00 AM.

A Bit About Megan Moroney

Megan Moroney has become a rising star in the country music world. Her big breakout song 'Tennessee Orange' just so happened to be her debut single and lead single from her 2023 album Lucky.

The track became a massive hit, with the accompanying music video garnering 36 million views on YouTube as of December 11th.

Moroney is still riding high after winning Best New Artist at the 2024 CMA Awards. 

Second Artist Announcement from the Iowa State Fair

Another artist coming to Des Moines in 2025 is pop singer and Christian musician Forrest Frank with special guest Lecrae.

He is set to perform at the Grandstand on Thursday, August 7th. Tickets for this show will also go on sale on Friday, December 13th at 10:00 AM.

A Bit About Forrest Frank

Forrest Frank is a force in the Christian music genre. The 29-year-old Texas native was named Billboard’s #1 Top New Christian Artist in 2023. His song  “NO LONGER BOUND” [feat. Hulvey] dropped this year and has been streamed 60.9+ million times on Spotify.

Frank's 2024 album CHILD OF GOD became the best-selling Christian album of the year.

Only three acts have been announced for next year's state fair. We will keep you posted when other concerts are revealed.
