Main Street in Cedar Falls to Close for HUGE Party

Main Street Cedar Falls sure knows how to throw a party!

On Saturday September 23rd, Cedar Falls will be having its first ever Cedar Falls Downtown District Street Party. All of Main Street will be closed for the event and all of the activities that are set for it.

There will be giant yard games, silent disco, pickleball, and even live music!

The event will be free to the public, however if you would like to drink, you must purchase a Street Party Koozie if you would like to have an alcoholic beverage. The only open container that will be allowed in the streets must be in the official Street Party Koozie.

You can purchase the koozies ahead of time through pre-registration and pick them up at the event. Make sure to keep an eye on the Community Main Street page for more details once they are released about the event.

The Cedar Falls Downtown District Street Party will run from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, September 23rd in the Cedar Falls Downtown District.

The bars and restaurants in the area will be open for business during the event, with some of them even offering up some "quick-serve food and drink items."
