JUST ANNOUNCED: Two Country Stars Are Bringing the Party to Iowa

Snow might be in the forecast, but so are some stellar country concerts.

We are really in the middle of the dog days of winter here in the Hawkeye State. Our weather partners are predicting that some gnarly snow might be coming to Eastern Iowa.

On Monday, February 10th officials from VenuWorks announced some exciting concert news. Two major country stars will be coming to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in June.

On June 21st, 2025, the McGrath Ampitheatre will be welcoming Justin Moore and Joe Nichols to Cedar Rapids.

Justin Moore Returns to Cedar Rapids

The Arkansas native has paid a visit to the Hawkeye State on a few occasions. Justin Moore has become a big name in country radio over the past decade.

He actually just earned himself his 13th No. 1 with his latest track 'This Is My Dirt.'

Some of his other massive hits include “You, Me, and Whiskey,” “We Didn’t Have Much,” and “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home.”

Joe Nichols Comes to the Hawkeye State

Just like Moore, Joe Nichols also hails from Arkansas.

This country singer has released nine studio albums over the course of his nearly twenty-year long career. In 2003, Nichols won the title of CMA New Artist of the Year (at that time called the Horizons Award),

Nichols' goal as a performer is to connect with his audience on an emotional level.

“My job is to make people feel good. And sometimes that means with fun and happy songs, and other times with sad and sorrowful truths. But the goal is always to make them feel good,” Joe says on his website.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this week, just in time for Valentine's Day.
