The No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes (18-6, 7-4) mens basketball team came up big in front of a sold out Carver-Hawkeye Arena.  The Hawkeyes thumped the Michigan Wolverines (17-6, 9-2) to the tune of 85-67 on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

Roy Devyn Marble got the Iowa Hawkeyes started with three straight three-point goals.  Marble ended up with six three-pointers, and he scored 22 of his 26 points in the first half.

Iowa has now beaten multiple AP Top 10 Big Ten teams in the regular season for the first time since 1990-91. Today's 18-point victory was also Iowa's largest vs. an AP Top 10 team since beating No. 2 Missouri by 18 on Dec 15, 2001.

Iowa has registered 20+ assists in seven games this season. Mike Gesell tied a career-high in assists (8).

Next Up: The Iowa Hawkeyes will return to action on February 15 when they travel to play Penn State.
