Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who's currently in his seventh term in the U.S. Senate is back at work following a battle with COVID-19 that sidelines him roughly two-weeks ago. According to a press release from the senator's office, Grassley was asymptomatic during his COVID battle, and hence remained healthy during his period of quarantine.

In the release, Grassley stated he received many well wishes from all over the country.

While I continued working from home during my quarantine, I’m glad to be back in the office working for Iowans. During my quarantine, I heard from so many Iowans and Americans across the country. I’m thankful for their prayers and well wishes.

Grassley also went on the share his hope for an end to the pandemic with hopes a vaccine will soon be in the hands of medical professionals across country and the world. Due to his time and tenure in the U.S. Senate, Grassley is third in the presidential line of succession immediately following the vice president and speaker of the House.
