Iowa Olympian Buys Massive New House [VIDEO]

Not only is this olympian from Iowa, but she is also a gold medal winner. The Des Moines native has been making Iowans proud since the age of 16 years old when she won a gold medal in the balance beam.

She was also the winner of a silver medal in the all-around and floor excises when the woman's gymnastics team took the floor in the 2008 summer Olympics. I'm of course talking about the 4'11 gymnast who packs a big punch in a small package, Shawn Johnson East.

Shawn is now married to a former NFL player Andrew East, as he most recently played the long snapper position for the Washington Commanders before his retirement in February of 2022. It turns out this family has a pretty good knack for creating content on Youtube. The East Family currently boasts a whopping 1.44 million subscribers on the content-sharing platform.

To put it in the most basic way possible, the East family shares videos of their lives. They have multiple vlogs about house projects they've worked on, they've shared videos of Shawn's experiences being pregnant, and they've shared plenty of videos of their children's "firsts." They've just now recently shared a video of their massive new home in Nashville, Tennessee.

This was a pretty quick process for the family as Shawn mentions in the video

We found this house as we were driving by. We bought it a week later, and we moved in a week after that.

There are still some projects for the family to complete as the couple excitedly shows off their new gorgeous home. As they take you through each room they share what they still want to finish up.
