The Iowa Hawkeye football team has done some in-house renovating.

The Hawkeyes will enjoy a brand new locker room setup this upcoming football season and if you haven't seen the latest home decor yet...this setup looks amazing. Football teams and players spend a lot of time in their home locker rooms preparing for games, putting on their equipment, visiting the training staff, getting taped up for games, or simply hanging out with their teammates before and after games.

Players need to have a comfortable place to do everything they need to prepare for games and be with the team. Having a locker room that players want to be in, take pride in, and call home, can only help a football team/program.

The new locker room setup appears to have all of the bells and whistles players and coaches could want in 2024. The Hawkeye football team has shared these short videos of their new setup on their Instagram page!

Here is another look inside!

This is the best video I've been able to find of the new locker rooms. You can actually take a small tour and see the entire locker room with this KanesSports video.

The locker room contains tons of flat-screen TVs, there are new leather chairs at each locker, and the fans/players seem to love the new setup with their reactions on social media.

While the locker room is an upgrade and it looks incredible, there is one question I have. It's possible we can't see everything with the videos provided but is there an area where all of the players can comfortably gather in one place?

The locker room now is almost set up like an airplane. There's a narrow long hallway with lockers and chairs off to the sides. If Kirk Ferentz wants to address the entire team at once, is there a spot where all of the players can gather comfortably?

Other than that, this new setup looks incredible! We're only 1 month away from Hawkeye football returning! The Hawkeyes open the season at Kinnick Stadium on August 31st against Illinois State.

Iowa Football's Unanimous Consensus All-Americans

In the century since unanimous consensus All-Americans have been named, these are the only 15 Iowa Hawkeyes that have ever received the distinction.
