FEMA: Buy Enough Groceries For One Week
Here in Iowa, governor Kim Reynolds says she will not move to make Iowan shelter in Place. Despite that, many are staying home - as they're suppose to - to help fight the spread of coronavirus. Nationally, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has recently released new guidelines on what you should be doing when you do venture out out to grab needed groceries.
Most notably, only buying one week’s worth of groceries at a time. According to its website, FEMA says buying several weeks worth of items only makes it more difficult for your fellow citizens. It is also recommended to visit grocery stores less frequently by making sure you have everything you need in one trip.
