Every Iowa Actor Who Has Played A Superhero On Screen

It may be hard to believe, but multiple superheroes are from the state of Iowa. One of my favorite fun facts is that both Superman (Brandon Routh) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) went to Norwalk High School, in Norwalk, IA. Rumor has it that they were on the same soccer team. That must have been a very hard team to beat!

As someone who loves superheroes, it is great to see so many Iowans come from our home state!

It's not just heroes, but we also have some villains too! Many of these actors still visit parts of Iowa and their home towns, some of these actors are even friends with each other.

You can also usually catch most of them at least one comic con, or other events.

Hard to believe Iowa is home to two Supermen! (and technically a cyborg one too.) Hopefully, we see even more talented Iowans on the big screen someday with Marvel or DC.

With all the new superhero shows related to other comics, we are sure to see more Iowa heroes! I was lucky enough to meet some of the heroes and villains from Iowa, and I hope to meet more someday. Who would have thought Iowa could have so many cool heroes!
