Downtown Cedar Falls to Kick Off Free Summer Block Parties
While it's not "officially" summer just yet, it sure does feel like it!

Kids are starting to wrap up school and now parents are looking for fun and affordable activities that will keep them occupied in the summer months. Luckily, the Cedar Valley knows just how to kick off the live music season!
The Gallagher Bluedorn is teaming up with local community members to put on a summer Block Party event that is going to stretch through the entire summer. These various venues are bringing in local artists to perform on their portable stage.
On Friday, May 26th the Block Party will commence in Downtown Cedar Falls at the Veridian Credit Union Stage at the River Place Plaza with Milk and Honey. It is anticipated that the show will go from 6PM-8PM that Friday night.
The Gallagher Bluedorn announced this eight-part concert series in early May. These Block Parties will be held at various locations all throughout the Cedar Valley. All eight of these outdoor music events are free and open to the public.
The only things you need to bring are yourselves and maybe a lawn chair!
