6 months ago nobody would have thought that there would be a shortage in our country on toilet paper, gloves or masks. Heck, no one would have thought we would be in the midst of a pandemic right now, quarantining at home and practicing social distancing. That is why it is no surprise that things like masks and gloves which have become the norm to wear in public have become scarce.

If you have been searching for a mask in order to stay safe in public but have been unlucky in finding them as supplies have dwindled, then this is your lucky day! As per WHOtv, it has been announced by the Iowa Department of Public Health that Hy-Vee stores across Iowa will receive cloth masks to distribute to the public today, May 26th.

Each Hy-Vee will have around 500 masks to provide for free to it's customers who do not have masks yet. The masks will start being handed out around 7 a.m. today and they will be based on first come, first serve while supplies last basis.
