16,000 bottles of detergent are impacted by the recall. While the product itself isn't a risk, the containers have been recalled because they may contain bacteria contamination.

What To Know About This Detergent Recall

This recall impacts a product sold exclusively on Amazon, which is a popular option for many consumers. If you're someone who shops on Amazon, make sure you didn't purchase this detergent.

According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recalled product is known to contain Pseudomonas species bacteria, which it describes as,

...an environmental organism found widely in soil and water.

The detergent, again, is only sold on Amazon, is Woolite Delicates detergent in the 50-fluid-ounce bottles.

If you purchased a Woolite Delicate bottle from Amazon, make sure you check the SKU and lot code to see if it's impacted.

The Woolite Delicates bottles that have been recalled were produced by Reckitt and sold in January 2025. The SKU is 62338-72724, with lot codes S24364, S24365, and S24366.

If you purchased a bottle, you should stop using it immediately and contact Reckitt or Amazon for a full refund.
