For the second time in state history, three of Iowa's four Division-I men's basketball teams are going to the NCAA Tournament.

UNI, an automatic qualifier as champion of Missouri Valley Conference tournament, received a No. 11 seed and a first-round meeting against No. 6 seed Texas in Oklahoma City on Friday (March 18, 2016). The game will be played at the Ford Center, the same venue where the Panthers beat Kansas in 2010 and earned a trip to the Sweet 16.

The Longhorns (20-12) finished fourth in the Big 12 Conference.

As expected, both Iowa (21-10) and Iowa State (21-11) drew higher seeds than the Panthers.

The Hawkeyes are the No. 7 seed in the South Region and will face No. 10 seed Temple (21-11) in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday. Iowa State (21-11) is a No. 4 seed in the tournament and will face No. 13 Iona in the first-round, a game that will be played in Denver on Thursday.
