Cows are man's best friend. At least they are here in Iowa.

After mindlessly scrolling through Tik Tok I came across a strange sub-culture of social media...cow tok.

The viral social video sharing app is chock full of amazing gems like this one video of an Iowan farmer and his cow.

Here is the proper way to transport cows or cattle for reference. This is not the typical mode of transportation for these bovines. Usually, they have their own trailer or ride in this specific section of a huge tractor-trailer.

As you can see, this is what normal people do. One Iowa farmer shared a hilarious and adorable video of him trying to transport one of his cows.

In the open of the video, you can hear this farmer muttering, "It's not that bad! Come on!"

Is he talking to himself? His co-worker? No...his cow...

He struggles to get this big boy into his truck. From the looks of this video, his bovine friend might have escaped from his farmland and started checking out greener pastures. The cow stands in the backseat and has his head sitting on the driver most of the ride.

Once the cow is secure in the backs seat, the ride seems to be a relatively smooth one. The cow and the farmer are hanging out like two buddies going on a fun road trip together.  If bodies also randomly licked the driver on said road trip...

Besides the brief licking incident the farmer was able to get his cow home safely, and if you watch until the end of the video, you can even tell how happy this guy is to be back home.

Hilarious Iowa DOT Signs

Anyone else share a sense of humor with a state's Department of Transportation? Just me? Well, every Monday the Iowa Department of Transportation puts up a sometimes hilarious, sometimes straightforward message on their road signs across the state. This is called "message Monday" and Iowa DOT tries to entertain and educate drivers through these signs. Here are just a few of our favorites.
