LeAnn Rimes has been on the road this month performing a series of holiday shows all across the country. The 'How Do I Live' singer was set to make a few more stops before rapping up the tour for the year.

The LeAnn Rimes JOY: The Holiday Tour has been scrapped for this year.

After a recent bout of the flu, Rimes' doctor made a scary diagnosis. The singer shared in a handwritten note on her Instagram that her doctor discovered a "bleed" on her vocal chord.

"It completely and utterly breaks my heart to have to announce that I will be rescheduling this weekend's shows..." the singer wrote.

"I am devastated to have to do this as there was nothing more that I was looking forward to than spending the holidays with you."

According to her post, the bleed was due to a violent cough that she had while sick. This announcement brings with it the news that her last two shows in Nashville and Iowa will be rescheduled.

Her Nashville show at the Ryman has been postponed until next April.

The Iowa show was scheduled to be at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort this Friday, December 9th. This venue announced the postponement on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials do confirm that all tickets from this December performance will be honored for the rescheduled date on September 29th, 2023.
