Famous TV-Personality Dined In Waterloo [PHOTO]
The Cedar Valley has been playing host to a whole lot of celebrities over the past few months. From Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning to Jay Leno, it seems like big stars are coming to the area in droves.
After doing some intense scrolling on social media I came across something incredibly interesting. Waterloo was visited by a pretty big celebrity this month. I don't know how people are able to keep news like this under wraps!
I know I have a tendency to be a bit of a gossip monger, so any juicy bit of celebrity news always gets me so excited that I HAVE to tell someone.
You might know Chuck Todd from his years as a television journalist and as the 12th and current moderator of NBC's 'Meet the Press' or maybe you just know him as the Political Director of NBC News.
Either way, the name is pretty familiar to those who might consider themselves political news junkies.
Todd was in Waterloo on Wednesday, March 23rd for a brief visit. The journalist was stopping by KWWL for an interview with Ron Steele for The Steele Report.
Todd also interviewed Iowa Democratic Party Chair Ross Wilbur during his brief stop in Waterloo.
When he wasn't taking care of this business, the journalist actually went for a bite to eat in the city. Wednesday afternoon, Chuck Todd was spotted getting lunch at Rodney's Kitchen in Waterloo.
The restaurant located at 624 Sycamore Street specializes in soul food and regional cuisine. On the eatery's Facebook, they shared a photo of Chuck Todd posing with a member of their very own team.
