Caitlin Clark continues to make waves all across Iowa and throughout the entire sports world.

The West Des Moines native has been running on a bit of a high for the past year. Not only did she get selected as the No. 1 overall WNBA draft pick in 2024, but she also was voted the league's Rookie of the Year.

Even in the off season, the Indiana Fever guard is continuing to make headlines.

At the end of 2024, TIME Magazine' named Caitlin Clark their Athlete of the Year.

The twenty-three year old is heading back to her alma mater on Sunday, February 2nd for her jersey retirement ceremony at the University of Iowa. You can check out all of the details about the event here and how you can still possibly get tickets.

Indiana Fever Announce Special Game In Iowa City

On the morning of Thursday, January 30th news broke about an exciting homecoming for one of Iowa's favorite basketball players.

The Indiana Fever will play  a special preseason game in the arena where Caitlin Clark shattered records and made history as a collegiate player.

This spring, the 2024 underdog team is heading out to Iowa City. They will play a preseason matchup against the Brazilian National Team on Sunday, May 4th in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM CST.

How Can I Get Tickets for the Indiana Fever Game At Iowa?

According to a release from the Indiana Fever team, tickets for this exciting matchup will be done through the University of Iowa's ticketing page. Check out more information here about it.

It does not seem like the tickets are live just yet. We will keep you updated as more information is released about the game.

The Indiana Fever are set to kick off their official season of gameplay in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Chicago Sky on May 17th.
