Caitlin Clark Strikes Again: Gatorade Collab Sends Internet into Frenzy

We know that Caitlin Clark has a tendency to make waves on the court, but recently she has been causing some ruckus on the internet.

It’s been a wild couple of months for the Iowa hometown phenom.

First, she broke the NCAA women’s scoring record with a perfect three from the Hawkeye logo.

Not too long after that she broke and set another record. This time it was for the NCAA all-time scoring record.

That’s right…

She’s scored more points as a college player than ANY person who’s played the game at that level.

Now she’s moving on from shattering goals to kind of breaking the internet.

Caitlin Clark and Gatorade Team Up for Collaboration

The West Des Moines native teamed up with Gatorade to design a bottle and towel set inspiring people to 'Dream Big.' It has some of Clark's favorite colors and is a great collector's item for any fan of college hoops.

For $45, fans would get the custom GX water bottle and towel that Clark helped design.

The set features her number 22, a three-point line, basketball, and net according to reports.

Unfortunately, if you're just hearing about it now and are itching to get your hands on it, you are out of luck.

From die-hard collectors to Iowa alums, everyone is trying to get their hands on this pack.

Clark Breaks the Internet

These limited-edition items came out on March 19th. Due to the influx of fans interested in purchasing the bottle and towel set, the Gatorade website crashed mere minutes after going live, according to reports.

The items sold out the very same day that they dropped.

Now, if you want to grab these items, you'll probably have to find a third-party seller who is going to upcharge you.

There is no word on whether or not Gatorade will restock these items.

Fans who already received the limited edition drop, saw a little note from the basketball phenom on the side of the box that read,

"I was inspired to dream big, real big. Now, it's time for you to dream big too. Gatorade and I collaborated on this design to inspire you to chase your dreams. When you need that extra motivation to reach your goals. Fuel up with Gatorade and keep going."
