Well aren't we lucky.

There is a pretty heft winter storm system heading to the Cedar Valley Friday, but an Iowans best friend, Busch Light, wants to make it a little more bearable for all of us. Their Facebook page reads:

As the snow falls, so does the price of Busch.

For every inch of snow that accumulates in your state this season, we’ll take $1 off your Busch (up to $30, excluding sales tax). We promise not to flake on you. Stock up now and learn more at busch.com/snowday (Promotion applies to IA, MI, MN, ND, NE, NY, and WI)

So basically, the more snow we get, the cheaper the beer is! Please let us not get 30 inches, I mean $30 off beer is awesome, but 30 inches of snow is a lot of snow. Right now Waterloo is expected to get 5-7 inches of snow, and $5 - $7 isn't too bad, especially since we need to be able to drive to actually GET the beer, right?.

Busch is tracking snowfall throughout the season so the savings will pile up as winter goes on. The discount will be available via rebate at My Beer Rebate and use code AB-1775.

Good luck surviving the storm, make sure you are stocked on all the necessities, have plenty of gas in the ol' snowblower, and an eye on the K98.5 app for all the latest on the weather.
