Brett Young Returning To Cedar Rapids, This Time As Headliner

The first time Brett Young performed in Cedar Rapids he was the opening act and had been married for just over six months. When he returns to the stage in the City of Five Seasons later this year, Young will be the headliner and the father of two girls.

Cedar Rapids Has a Blast With Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young

Something that hasn't changed since the first time Brett Young was in Cedar Rapids is his chart success. He now has a string of seven consecutive number one songs, including "Lady". He wrote the song for his baby girl when his wife Taylor was pregnant. It reached the top of the country charts in March of 2021. The little girl is named Presley and stars in the video for the song, along with mom and dad.

"The Weekends Tour" featuring Brett Young will be at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids on Friday, November 5. Brett will be joined at the show by Maddie & Tae and Filmore.

When Brett opened for Kelsea Ballerini in Cedar Rapids on May 10, 2019, he was just days removed from totally losing his voice. He told me before the show that night that his voice was "about 80 to 85 percent." He was still tremendous. I can't wait to hear him when his voice is at its peak.
