TONIGHT - IOWA STATE'S FIRST TOP 10 SHOWDOWN IN YEARS:
No. 9 Iowa State (13-0, 1-0) hosts its first top-10 showdown since the 2000-01 season Tuesday when it faces No. 7 Baylor (12-1, 0-0) at Hilton Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ESPN2 will carry the game live.
The Iowa State Cyclones (13-0, 1-0) are one of just six unbeaten teams remaining in the nation. The Cyclones are looking to improve to 2-0 in Big 12 play for the second time under head coach Fred Hoiberg and the sixth time in school history. Iowa State’s 13-game winning streak matches the longest in school history (1999-2000).

A drug dealer who was sentenced to house arrest thought better of it after spending the holidays with his nagging wife. According to The Times of London, 32-year-old Walid Chaabani surrendered to cops in Livorno, Italy, on New Year's Eve, saying he preferred jail to living with his wife because of the stress he experienced. How bad was life in that household for him to go that route?

This is the other Bucky is excited about. Marg Helgenberger and Josh Holloway are back in prime-time in a new CBS drama called Intelligence (8p CST). Holloway plays a government intelligence agent who has a microchip installed in his brain that gives him to access all sorts of information available through Internet and satellites.

DIERKS ALBUM RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED:
After long and anxious wait for fans, Dierks Bentley has finally announced a release date for his seventh studio album, ‘Riser.’
On Feb. 25, Bentley will release the album which holds his current hit, ‘I Hold On.’ He says the new album will have a lot of heavy stories that needed to be told, but there’s also a balance with some of his lighter tunes, too. It’s no surprise he’s showing both emotions — Bentley has been through a lot since he started writing for this album.
“I named the album ‘Riser’ because the lyrics in that song perfectly articulate who I want to be, who I try to be,” the singer explains in a press release. “There’s a lot of really intense material on this record, but there’s also a lighter side that is equally important in telling the story of the last two years of my life.”

I stumbled onto this show Sunday night. It's PBS's "Masterpiece Mystery!" It's based on the Sherlock Holmes series. The third season airs Sunday, January 19th right after the new episode of "Downton Abbey." The show stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness) and Martin Freeman (The Hobbit trilogy).
