Black Hawks Hockey on Cedar Falls Utilities

Cedar Falls Utilities cable customers can now watch Waterloo Black Hawks replays.

Cedar Falls Utilities cable customers may have the opportunity to see themselves on TV during telecasts of several upcoming Waterloo Black Hawks home games.

On Thursday, the team and CFU announced a partnership which will include the rebroadcast of at least nine Hawks home games to be played during the remaining season. The games will be aired on CFU Channel 15 on Wednesday evenings, then at other times throughout the week.

“With our new video system at Young Arena, fans have the opportunity to see instant replays right from their seats. Adding this partnership with the City of Cedar Falls Cable TV Division gives fans the opportunity to go back and watch all of the action from start to finish, right for their recliner,” said Black Hawks Vice President Mike Falk.

Since the beginning of the 2013/14 season, fans at Black Hawks games have benefitted from in-game video on the new scoreboard at Young Arena, professionally produced by MetroStudios of Hiawatha.
