In case you didn't know...it is concert season! Your favorite artists are visiting your arenas, amphitheaters, and fairgrounds across the nation and right here in Iowa! There is nothing quite like being in a crowd of people singing along to the lyrics of all your favorite songs. So which tours in 2023 are the hottest? You've no doubt heard about some of them, ahem...Taylor Swift. But what tour has Iowans scrambling for tickets?

Insuranks did all the hard work for us. They took a look at Google searches related to concerts and live performances over the past 12 months to figure out which concert ticket is the toughest get in each state. First, let's get to the obvious choice for the most popular tour in the most states in 2023. It is Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

The Eras Tour sold out in minutes. Fans were stuck in the queue for hours! But the patience paid off. My daughter Carly and I will be in Kansas City in July for our Taylor experience. Insuranks had Taylor's Eras Tour tops in Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. If you're wondering who the top tour in Iowa is for 2023, look no further than the world of country music.

Morgan Wallen is the hottest tour in the state of Iowa and three other U.S. states. Morgan ran into some vocal issues and had to go on six weeks of vocal rest. A number of shows had to be rescheduled including a stop at Vibrant Arena in Moline. But Morgan is healed up and ready to go. His tour resumes on June 22nd at Wrigley Field in Chicago. That Moline show has been rescheduled for September 8th.

Country music in general is doing very well on tour this year. Out of the ten hottest tours in the U.S. three are country acts. Joining Morgan Wallen are Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton. One thing that isn't getting better is ticket prices. Insuranks found that 46% of the public would consider getting a second job to pay for concert tickets. That isn't how you make your fans happy.
