What We Argue About On Our Holiday Road Trip
It's going to happen. See if your family argues about these topics.
She's touching me. Stop kicking my seat. I'm bored. These are all things that someone says on a long car trip. Whether it's the confining conditions, hot or cold, or having to go to the bathroom, there never seems to be a civil family road trip.
I remember being in the car (with a family of 5) and since I was the smallest, I always had to ride in the middle back seat. It was awful. Both my older brothers were always in my bubble. Sometimes, I would just pick a fight with one of them so we had to be separated.
The first argument happens on an average of 27 minutes into the car ride. The most common arugments that happen on your family road trip are:
1. (Tie) Control over the radio
1. (Tie) Control of the temperature
3. What route to take
4. Traffic frustrations
5. When to stop for bathroom breaks
Hopefully you have a fantastic and civil holiday and that includes a holiday road trip.
