What is Iowa’s Favorite Flavor of Jelly Bean?
With Easter just around the corner, we wanted to know what flavor of jelly bean is Iowans favorite to snack on.
Since Iowa is known for its tall, tall corn, we thought that maybe 'Buttered Popcorn' might take the top spot. After all, it was the second most popular flavor in the United States.
Although it was the top choice for Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, and Texas, it fell one spot short for Iowa jelly bean fans.
According to CandyStore.com, Iowans can't get enough of the 'Cherry' jelly bean. Buttered Popcorn was was the second most popular flavor followed by 'Grape'.
What's most interesting is that 'Black Licorice' was tops for 11 states and number one overall in the country. One of the most polarizing flavors, you either love it or you hate it, landed on the top of the favorite jelly bean flavor list. 'Watermelon', 'Cherry', and 'Cinnamon' round out the 'Top Five'. list.
