Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Wife Hayley Are Expecting!
Add Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley to the list of country couples expecting a baby in 2017! The Florida Georgia Line member and his wife have shared the news that their family is growing.
People reports that Hubbard and Hayley are expecting their first child in December. She's been experiencing quite a bit of morning sickness, but the couple is still super-excited about their impending addition.
"It’s something we’ve looked forward to for a while,” Hubbard says. "It’s just an exciting phase of our life and an exciting next step ... There's a lot that we're going to get to learn ...
"To be honest, our world, at this point in our life, it revolves around what we want it to revolve around — our wants and our needs and our desires, what we have going on in our schedule … and all that’s about to change," Hubbard adds. "Trying to have the balance of raising a kid and raising a family with the lifestyle that we have, and the pace of life that we live, it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be challenging and something that we’re really, really excited about."
Hubbard and his wife have another country couple -- their also-expecting friends Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren -- to thank, in a way, for their soon-to-be-born baby boy or girl. Hubbard and Hayley were on a safari with Rhett and Lauren in Tanzania when Lauren found out that she was pregnant ... and it made Hubbard and Hayley realize that they wanted to have a child, too.

“It was the first time that we were actually excited about the possibility of being pregnant,” Hubbard says. “So that instigated the conversation of, ‘Well, maybe we should give this thing a shot and see what happens.’"
Still, the couple has been leaving the timing up to God: "We’ve just been going with it and seeing what happens, and it’s been fun to live in that moment for a little while of, ‘If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, great as well,'" Hubbard says.
Hubbard and Hayley have been married for about two years, since July of 2015. They got engaged on Sept. 22, 2014.
Hubbard and his FGL duo partner Brian Kelley recently opened FGL House, a restaurant and entertainment venue, in Nashville. They are currently out on the road for their Smooth Tour 2017 with special guests Nelly and Chris Lane at all shows, and the Backstreet Boys at select stadium dates.
