New Nightclub Opens in Downtown Cedar Rapids

Downtown Cedar Rapids has gone through quite a bit of change over the past few weeks.

Restaurants like the Barrel House and the Chophouse have closed up for good, and a new business called CityWalk Eatery is set to open this fall.

Now a new nightclub has opened in the heart of Cedar Rapids.

New Nightclub in Downtown Cedar Rapids

Located at 208 2nd Avenue SE in Downtown Cedar Rapids, Tru Nightclub opened its doors for the first time on Saturday, August 17th.

The website describes the venue as a "blend of sophistication and excitement" intended for adults who are 21 and over.

Tru Nightclub offers local and upscale bottle service that you can request ahead of time here.

They have a 6,300-square-foot event venue rental space that you can book for private events as well!

How Much Does It Cost to Get In?

If you're interested in spending a night out at Tru Nightclub, you'll have to pay a cover.

Admission tickets cost $15 when they are purchased online, and you can buy them at the nightclub's website here. If you want to purchase them at the door, it will cost you $20, and you'll have to pay in cash.

The newest addition to the Cedar Rapids night life scene will be open Friday through Sunday.

Friday: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Saturday: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Sunday: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
