Standing taller than Niagara Falls, the world's tallest water slide is set to in Kansas City.  The slide is dubbed "Verrückt", which means 'insane', promises just that. A wet, insane ride that starts 168 feet, 7 inches off the ground.

Verrückt is the tallest water slide in the world, and its structure dominates the skyline at the Kansas City Schlitterbahn park. Thrill seekers will be strapped into a four-person raft that will slide down the 'jaw dropping' 168 foot 7 inch structure.

If that is not enough, riders will then be blasted back up a second massive hill and then sent down yet another 'gut wrenching' 50 foot drop. They promise is to be the “ultimate in water slide thrills!”

Officials at Schlitterbahn water park announced that Verrückt will open to the public on Thursday (07/10/2014).

Lainie Brooks says, "road trip."  Bucky Doren says, "I'll drive."
