While portions of southern Minnesota received some decent snowfall over the weekend, it was nothing compared to the massive amount of snow that fell across parts of Iowa, as these pictures show!
While this is not an official "storm chasing" certification this could be the next best thing, especially in Northeastern Iowa. It's pretty simple to be a storm spotter in Iowa.
If you were around 53 years ago, this day is one that you may remember and probably would like to forget. It was this day in 1968 that one of the worst tornado outbreaks in Iowa history devastated the state.
With winds expected to gust up to 50 MPH combined with low humidity, spring burning is NOT recommended across Eastern Iowa on Monday, March, 29th.
