Summer’s Last Blast Brings Two Days of Concerts to Dubuque
Where the Annual Verlo Mattress Kickoff 2 Summer helped set the tone for a music and fun-filled summer in the Tri-States, a multi-day concert looks to bring it all to a close. Furthermore, there's no better place for such an event to occur than the site of so much entertainment and fun this summer.
Summer's Last Blast is set to take place at Q Casino's Back Waters Stage on Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th. The two-day concert brings seven bands to the stage, and is underscored by the fact that it's free to attend. All ages are welcome too!
Both Friday and Saturday, gates open at 6pm. The roster of entertainment is rife with names Dubuque concertgoers will surely recognize:
Friday, August 25th:
Saturday, August 26th:
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Summer's Last Blast too. Sugar Ray's BBQ is one of the food trucks that will be serving up delicious eats on site.
Also worth noting is this will be the final Summer's Last Blast performance of Johnny Trash, who will be retiring from the performing scene later this year. Johnny Trash has been one of the most recognizable acts in the Tri-States for years, as well as a staple of Summer's Last Blast in years past.
An event like this doesn't happen without some amazing sponsors, including Verlo Mattress, Envision/1-800 T-SHIRTS, Spahn & Rose, Express Employment Professionals, 365ink Magazine, and Townsquare Media, all of whom provided their support to make sure this event could be free to the general public!
