This year has been one for the "books", between the stress of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 election, and all of our own personal challenges. But through all of that, we persevere and still "give thanks" for what we have rather than what we do not.

Here's a chance for you give back to the community this holiday season by considering to sponsor a family's Thanksgiving dinner this year. The Northeast Iowa Food Bank will be giving out thousands of Thanksgiving dinners to those experiencing hunger in the Cedar Valley, along with Bremer and Butler counties as well. This year, they're looking to feed 3,300 northeast Iowa households with Thanksgiving dinner kits.

Here's how you can help:
$35 donation - "Set the Table" with a full course meal, including: a ham, fresh produce, dairy, bakery items, a side dish, canned vegetables, and dessert.
$25 donation - "Prep the Table", providing a ham, fresh produce, dairy, and bakery items. You can donate the remaining food items if you wish.
