
Seven Snowplows & a State Trooper’s Car were Hit by Iowa Motorists
The Iowa Department of Transportation Tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that SEVEN of their snowplows were hit by other motorists while they were clearing the roads. No injuries were involved in the accidents.
The Iowa DOT added:
If you MUST travel in a storm, PLEASE be aware that our plows move much slower than traffic.
The Iowa State Patrol reported that in a 30-hour timespan, Troopers responded to 147 crashes statewide and assisted 435 motorists.
While covering a separate crash, a State Trooper was hit from behind on I-80 on the north side of Des Moines:
