Quasky Man Guilty of Child Sex Abuse

A Northeast Iowa man has been found guilty of sexually abusing a child under 12 years old.

66 year old Russell Larson of Quasqueton, was convicted Wednesday (Feb. 17) in a bench trial in Iowa District Court in Buchanan County, of 2 counts of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree.

Larson is accused of performing sex acts with a child under the age of 12. The incidents happened between March 1st of 2020 and July 1st of 2020.

A hearing for Larson's sentencing will be held May 4. He faces 35 to 50 years in prison, and will have to pay various civil penalties, complete a sex offender treatment program, and will be on the state sex offender registry for life.
