Only in Iowa: That Fun Time When a Cow Ate our Mail
Don't get me wrong. I love cows, but they can be vicious. This is especially true if they take a dislike to your mail. Don't believe me? I can prove it with a video share on TikTok.
I think one of my grandma's cows knew that I had a hidden love for hamburgers. She would go out of her way to get in my way if I was trying to motor across her pasture. The Iowa cow struggle is real.
Imagine this Iowa guy's emotions when he looked at his mailbox and realized that his cow had taken revenge on the contents. This really happened and is now proven thanks to a share on TikTok.
You might laugh at the possibility that a cow can be vicious, but there's an entire Wikipedia page dedicated to the subject - kinda. Here's what science says:
Aggression in cattle can arise from both genetic and environmental factors. Aggression between cows is worse than that between bulls. Bulls with horns will bunt (push or strike with the horns) in which can cause more damage overall. In humans, most aggressive behaviors of cows include kicking, crushing and/or blunting.
You can add "stealing mail" to that list of possible cow things because this is Iowa.
