Old Dominion brought their romantic single "One Man Band" to the 2019 CMA Awards stage on Wednesday night (Nov. 13). The track is featured on the group's self-titled LP, which was released on Oct. 25.

With the image of an empty theater behind them, Matthew Ramsey and his Old Dominion bandmates played up the simple beauty of their 2019 single about yearning for love in a committed relationship rather than going it solo in a "one man band." There weren't any big sets or flashing lights, but that only served to highlight Ramsey's smooth vocals and Brad Tursi's strong guitar riff.

"One Man Band" was co-written by Ramsey, Tursi, guitarist and keyboardist Trevor Rosen and accomplished songwriter Josh Osborne. The track shows off the group's softer side, telling the story of a man ready to trade in single life for a fulfilling relationship.

In a recent interview with The Boot, Ramsey explained the group wanted to show their vulnerability on their latest record: "We definitely speak to our personal lives a bit more openly," he noted. "Or just to the human condition and everyday life that every human experiences -- you know, the ups and downs of relationships."

Old Dominion are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year. The band won the category for the first time in 2018.
