Movie Night In Overman Park TONIGHT!

Join the community of Cedar Falls in Overman Park tonight for a free family friendly featured film (say that three times fast) presented by Movies Under The Moon!

Movies Under The Moon is an amazing organization that hosts movie nights for friends and family in Overman Park on select Fridays throughout the summer. This is a great event for the entire family since all the movies they play are family friendly to the max. Tonight, the movie playing will be the 1990’s classic Disney film, ‘The Mighty Ducks’.

Just like at the theaters or the drive-ins, the public are encouraged to show up early to get a good seat. The turn out for these movie nights has been great in the past so make sure that you and your loved ones are at Overman park before the movie begins at around 9:00pm. You are also encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and, of course, snacks! Because you can’t have a movie night without something to munch on, it’s just not right.

If you can’t make it for the movie tonight, don’t worry! Movies Under The Moon has two more films coming up in August so you have plenty of time to clear your calendars to guarantee you can make it to one or both of those. August 13th will be playing the 2020 Pixar film ‘Onward’ and the last movie night of the summer will be August 27th with the 1987 iconic ‘Adventures in Babysitting’.

Even if you haven’t seen these movies yet, it’s never too late to watch them and what better way to experience a movie for the first time than with friends and family on a beautiful summer night in the park? Again, the movie will begin at dusk around 9:00pm and will last until about 11:00pm and for all you early birds out there that like to go to sleep outrageously early, you have all day Saturday to sleep in!
