Grab Tickets to Maren Morris at the Iowa State Fair
The 11 most action-packed days of summer in Iowa are just around the corner, and you can win tickets to one of the five country concerts right here.
Two great female country artists will be gracing the grandstand stage at the Iowa State Fair on Thursday, August 17.
Grammy Award winner Maren Morris is the headliner for the show, as she performs at the fair for the first time.
Morris started singing as a child. By the time she was 11, she was performing music throughout her home state of Texas. Now 33, Morris is a multi-faceted vocalist who has three number one songs and eight that have reached the country music Top 10.
Canada native Lindsay Ell will open the show for Morris. Ell began playing piano when she was six and discovered guitar two years later. Also a terrific live performer, her guitar skills are phenomenal.
Ell was discovered by Randy Bachman (The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner-Overdrive) when she was just 15 years old. The Calgary Herald says Bachman called her "the most talented and multi-faceted artist I've come across in many years."
