Local Man Arrested for Violating a Court Order
An Oelwein man has been arrested for violating a court order.
Shortly after 12:30pm Tuesday afternoon (March 30), Oelwein Police officers took Atonio Oaks into custody after an incident in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE.
Oaks is being charged with Violation of a No-Contact Order. Earlier this year, Oaks was arrested on assault charges, as well as another violation of a no-contact order.
Oelwein Police also report that at about 9:30am Tuesday, officers were sent to the 10 block of 20th Street SE to investigate a theft. No other information was given out, and the incident is still being investigated by the Oelwein Police Department.
