James Lipton, Host Of ‘Inside The Actors Studio’ Dead At 93

This is a sad one. James Lipton who was known for his ASMR style hosting skill with numerous Hollywood actors, has sadly passed away at the age of 93. Lipton was known for his creation of inside the actors studio, which delved into the world of Hollywood actors, and the preparation and delivery of their roles. Robin Williams, Kevin Spacey, and Seth Macfarlane we're just a few to grace the stage with Lipton.

Lipton's wife told The Hollywood Reporter he passed in his Manhattan home this morning from bladder cancer. "James Lipton was a titan of the film and entertainment industry and had a profound influence on so many," said Frances Berwick, president of NBCU Lifestyle Networks and home to Bravo, said in a statement on Monday.
